Welcome to Quarantined Rapport - Gundam Versus!

Because of the unfortunate circumstances leading to the cancellation of Michigan M@sters 2020, the tournament organizers have graciously allowed for us to compete for the Gundam Versus trophies put up for the event. In the spirit of sportsmanship, we have created an online tournament is open to anyone who wishes to enter in the North America region!

GUNDAM VERSUS Team Hold Rules:

• Double elimination team hold tournament.
• Tournament start time is March 28th, Saturday at 7:00 PM EST. Registration closes same day, at March 28th, Saturday, 12:00 PM EST.
  
• This tournament is open to North America region. This includes Central America, Canada, USA.
• A wired connection is REQUIRED to enter. Your connection must also be decent in speed and consistency, and decent will be defined by the Tournament Organizer.
• You must join this discord https://discord.gg/f5f6NWW and set your nickname as your challonge name during the tournament. You must also join https://discord.gg/fmwaNPD
• There is no entry fee required for this tournament.
• Matches are decided in 2/3 round format, with Loser's Finals, Winner's Finals, and Grand Finals decided in 3/5 round format.
• Registration closes an hour before event start.
• Check your suit, strikers, gear and buttons before the match begins. Matches will not be redone because of incorrect settings.
• First place team will receive trophies from Michigan Masters 2020.
• Additional prizes may follow.
  
• Winner suit, striker, & gear lock.
• Map set to Colony City by default.
• Loser may switch suit, striker, gear and choose to remain in Colony City or switch to any of these four maps: Abandoned Colony, Minsry, Bequest Island, New Hong Kong.
• For ties or time outs, the first round that results in a tie is not counted. Second tie or time out going on forward, team with highest total point wins the round. After a tie or timeout that is not counted, only the team that had lost the previous round may switch suit, striker, & gear.
• There are no striker or DLC restrictions in place.
• Save your replays after every match. If you do not have replays and someone disputes your win, and neither team can offer replays, both teams will be disqualified. Do not depend on the other team to have replays either.
• There must always be a TO in the match lobby.
• Be ready for your match. When TO pings your name on the Gundam Versus Tournament Discord Server, you are expected to show up within five minutes or your teammate is expected to explain where you are. On the event where your absence cannot be worked around, you may expect to receive a loss or be disqualified.
• A TO will ping your team with the okay for your team to engage. You MUST wait for the ping before you engage in your match, so that we may ensure that you are fighting the correct people. Failure to comply with this may result in disqualification or ejection.
• Please report your result after every round for the purposes of redundancy and record keeping in the Discord.
• Exemplary sportsmanship is expected out of every entrant.
• Tournament Organizers are here to ensure that entrants have the best experience during the tournament. As such, Tournament Organizers reserve the right to eject or disqualify any entrant or any team for any reason they see fit.
