Florida Def Jam Vendetta Tournament Ruleset 

STANDARD RULES 

General Rules

The game must be set to hard difficulty in the options menu. 

Game Rules are Battle, Singles Match. 

In Match Rules 

If you leave the ring or get knocked out of the ring (and are not about to be fighting outside of the ring), the individual outside of the ring can taunt once if they choose, but must come back in the ring other wise immediately. When both players are out side of the ring and fighting, they both must remain on the same side of the outside of the ring unless proceeding to re-enter the ring. 

Character Specific Banned Tech

DMX Heavy Grab from the Front (5Grab) and Briggs Heavy Grab from the Front (Right Strike) is the Koji Clutch Arm Submission move. It is illegal to Perform Koji Clutch into Koji Clutch into Koji Clutch etc. in a combo. You have to perform a different grab move that is not Koji Clutch after each Koji Clutch before performing another Koji Clutch in a combo. To give an example of a LEGAL combo, It is Legal to perform a Koji Clutch as DMX into Heavy Back Grab Strike into Koji Clutch into Heavy Back Grab Strike, etc. (There are no other banned combos/tech other than performing Koji Clutch directly into another Koji Clutch) 

Character Selection After a match the loser may elect to pick first, the winner is character locked if the character they played in the previous match is available and was not stolen from them. Before a set, players may request a coin toss or rock paper scissors for first pick, if no request is made, characters are picked as normal
