JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Heritage For The Future Tournament Rules

Game Rules:

-Petshop is banned

-Avdol Ankh AKA Avdol ghosting glitch is banned

-Game crashing or softlocking glitches are banned

(Iggy/Jotaro softlock grab glitch or Hol Horse stand bullet game freeze glitch)

-Any other glitches are allowed as long as it doesn't make the game unplayable

-The Gray Fly Stage “Plane Stage” is soft banned (The right corner of the stage is blocked by a sprite and can cause issues). If both players agree to reset, resetting will serve no penalty. (Characters that can trigger this stage: Kakyoin, Oldseph, Devo, Jotaro, Alessi, Midler, Avdol)

-Loops are limited to 3 repetitions.

(S.Dio Loop, DIO Loop etc)

-1 Tandem per combo. 2 Tandems allowed if the first causes a stand crash and ends right after.

(ABCx5 > Stand crash on first repetition > rest of the tandem repetitions > into another tandem NOT allowed)

-2/3 rounds for every match.

-2/3 matches for every set.

-3/5 matches for grand finals sets only

Tournament Rules:

-Register for the tournament using your Fightcade username (or one that closely resembles it) to avoid confusion! Changing your name during the tournament results in disqualification.

-Remember to check in 1 hour before the tournament start time!

-Participants edit the scores of their games themselves on the bracket page! (if there is a disagreement contact the hosts on discord)

-Remember to refresh the bracket page when the tournament starts to see the final bracket seedings!

-If there is a technical issue during a match, it is up to the opponent who DIDN'T have the issue to decide if he wants to rematch or take the win. If both players have an issue, it's a rematch continuing from the round they ended on.

-If your opponent doesn't show up after 10 minutes you are free to mark them as losers and you can move on in the brackets.

-Before the tournament officially begins, tournament hosts and commentators will be picking 3 matches from each round to preview on the stream. Chosen participants need to wait for their turn to play in the tournament. Other players that weren't chosen can play their games from the CURRENT ROUND whenever they like. Please do not go ahead in the brackets as you may be asked to restart your match! The TOP 8 and all Finals will be displayed on the stream. PLEASE WAIT FOR YOUR TURN TO PLAY IF YOUR MATCH IS GOING TO BE DISPLAYED ON STREAM!
